About Bajaj Pulsar N150 in Nepal

The Bajaj Pulsar N150 is the latest addition to the "N" series lineup in Nepal, designed as a modern successor to the classic Pulsar 150. It bridges the gap between a pure sports bike and a practical daily commuter by offering the muscular styling of its bigger sibling, the N160, but with a more fuel-efficient and accessible 150cc engine. The bike features a bi-functional LED projector headlamp that provides superior illumination, a sleek underbelly exhaust for better balance, and a single-piece seat designed for maximum rider and pillion comfort during city commutes.

Technologically, the N150 is well-equipped for the modern Nepali rider. It comes with a new "Infinity" digital console that features Bluetooth connectivity for call and SMS alerts, a USB charging port for on-the-go utility, and a gear position indicator. The BS6-compliant Fuel Injection (FI) engine ensures smooth power delivery and impressive mileage, making it one of the most cost-effective performance bikes in its segment. With its light kerb weight of 145kg and a low seat height of 790mm, it offers excellent maneuverability and "ground reachability," making it a perfect urban street machine.

About Pulsar N150

Bajaj Pulsar N150 Full Specifications & Features

Performance and Engine

1. Engine Displacement: 149.68 cc

The N150 is powered by a 149.68 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, FI engine. While it shares the "N" family DNA, this motor is specifically tuned for a balance of refinement and economy. It is notably smoother than the older Pulsar 150 models, making it ideal for the stop-and-go traffic of Kathmandu.

2. Max Power: 14.5 PS @ 8500 rpm

It produces 14.5 PS, which is plenty for city sprints. The power delivery is linear, meaning the bike doesn't "scare" you with sudden bursts, but rather glides predictably as you twist the throttle.

3. Max Torque: 13.5 Nm @ 6000 rpm

With 13.5 Nm of torque peaking relatively early, the N150 is excellent for low-speed maneuvering. You won't find yourself shifting gears constantly just to keep the bike from stalling in slow traffic.

4. Top Speed: 115 km/h

The N150 can reach a top speed of 115 km/h. While it’s not a track machine, it remains stable at 80–90 km/h, which is the sweet spot for most Nepalese highways.

5. Mileage: 48–55 kmpl

Efficiency is where the N150 shines. Real-world mileage typically ranges from 48 to 55 kmpl depending on your riding style. This makes it one of the most pocket-friendly Pulsars to run daily.

Safety & Handling

1. ABS: Single Channel

Unlike the N160, the N150 usually comes with Single-Channel ABS on the front wheel. It features a 260 mm front disc and a 130 mm rear drum (or an optional disc in newer variants). This setup provides reliable stopping power while keeping the bike's overall price point accessible.

2. Suspension: Monoshock Rear

The N150 features 31 mm telescopic front forks and a Monoshock rear suspension. This is a significant upgrade over the "Twin Shocks" found on the classic Pulsar 150, offering much better balance and absorbing bumps more effectively.

Tech & Features

1. Console: Fully Digital with Bluetooth

The 2026 N150 gets the modern LCD Infinity Display. It supports Bluetooth Connectivity, allowing you to see call/SMS alerts and phone battery status on the screen. It also includes a Gear Position Indicator and a Distance-to-Empty readout.

2. Lighting: LED Projector Headlamp

It carries over the "Wolf-Eye" bi-functional LED projector headlamp from its bigger siblings. This provides superior night visibility, which is a massive safety boost on poorly lit roads.

Maintenance

1. Service

Every 5,000 km after the initial break-in period.

2. Warranty

5 Years or 75,000 km (as per HH Bajaj standard policy).
