The Enduro R is powered by the latest generation LC4c engine. This 399 cc single-cylinder unit is shared with the new 390 Duke but is re-tuned for better low-end tractability. The SOHC architecture makes the engine more compact, allowing for the bike's slim, rally-inspired profile.

With 45 PS (approx. 44.4 BHP), the Enduro R offers explosive power for its weight. In the context of Nepal's steep trails, this power-to-weight ratio allows the bike to "pop" over obstacles and maintain momentum through deep sand or mud.

Peak torque of 39 Nm arrives relatively early, providing the "grunt" needed for technical climbs. The engine's linear power delivery ensures that the rear wheel finds traction even on loose gravel surfaces typical of the Mustang or Manang regions.
