The 2026 model features the all-new LC4c engine, bumped up to 399 cc. This redesigned single-cylinder engine is more compact and lighter than its predecessor. It features a larger airbox and a new cylinder head design that optimizes torque delivery throughout the rev range.

Pushing out 46 PS (approx. 45.3 BHP), the 390 Duke remains the king of the sub-400cc naked class. The new engine mapping provides a more linear power curve, making the bike feel even more "frantic" yet controlled than before.

Torque has increased to 39 Nm, with a significant chunk of it available much lower in the rev range. This allows for lightning-fast exits from corners and effortless urban overtakes without the need for constant high-RPM hunting.

Thanks to its improved power-to-weight ratio and refined aerodynamics, the 390 Duke can reach a top speed of 167 km/h. High-speed stability is enhanced by the new curved radiator and beefier fuel tank shrouds that act as aerodynamic wings.

Despite the performance upgrades, the 390 Duke manages a respectable 30 kmpl. With its new 15-litre steel fuel tank, the range is now ample for long-distance touring across Nepal's diverse landscapes.

The 390 Duke comes standard with a bi-directional Quickshifter+. This allows the rider to shift up and down through the 6-speed gearbox without touching the clutch, maintaining drive and stability during aggressive riding.

One of the most vital upgrades for Nepali roads is the increased ground clearance of 183 mm. This significantly reduces the risk of the underbelly exhaust hitting large speed breakers or rocky trails.

Despite the increase in engine size and features, the 390 Duke maintains a low kerb weight of 168.3 kg. This is achieved through the new pressure die-cast aluminum subframe and lighter wheels, which also reduce unsprung mass for better handling.

The 390 Duke is the only bike in its class in Nepal to offer Cornering ABS. Utilizing a 6-axis IMU, the system adjusts braking pressure based on lean angle. It also includes "Supermoto Mode" to disengage the rear ABS for track enthusiasts.

The new 5-inch TFT display uses bonded glass technology to eliminate glare and fogging. It features a "Track Screen" mode that highlights the lap timer and rev counter, while dimming non-essential information for race focus.

For 2026, the 390 Duke introduces Cruise Control, a segment-first feature that allows for relaxed highway cruising. It also includes Launch Control, which manages engine RPM and traction for perfect, wheelie-free starts from a standstill.

Service is required every 7,500 km after the first 1,000 km check. KTM Nepal (HH Bajaj) offers specialized diagnostic tools to manage the advanced electronics and IMU systems found only on the 390 model.
