Gearbox Type: 5-Speed Manual (G32/5)
The Cruiser features a 5-speed manual synchromesh gearbox with a gear-lock system on forward gears. Unlike the Gurkha, the Trax Cruiser is primarily a Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) vehicle, designed to push heavy loads efficiently. It uses a single-plate dry friction clutch with hydraulic actuation to handle the vehicle's Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 3,180 kg.
