The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara marks a historic transition for India’s largest carmaker into the electric vehicle era. Built on the dedicated "HEARTECT-e" platform, the e Vitara is a global SUV designed to offer both rugged performance and high-tech efficiency. Its design language, inspired by the eVX concept, features a polyhedral muscular stance, Y-shaped LED DRLs, and aggressive bumpers that give it a commanding road presence. Unlike traditional ICE vehicles, the e Vitara maximizes interior space through its long 2700 mm wheelbase, providing superior legroom and a flat floor for rear passengers.
As Maruti's first global EV, it comes equipped with advanced technologies like Level 2 ADAS and an AllGrip-e system (in global variants), ensuring top-tier safety and handling. With a range of up to 543 km on the larger battery pack, it effectively eliminates range anxiety for long-distance highway travel. The introduction of the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model also makes it one of the most accessible mid-size electric SUVs in the Indian market, lowering the upfront cost significantly for new EV adopters.
