Battery Capacity: 48 kWh / 59 kWh
The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara (the production version of the eVX) is built on the dedicated HEARTECT-e platform. In the Indian market, it is expected to offer two battery pack options: a 48 kWh unit for city-focused driving and a larger 59 kWh unit for extended range. These lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells are designed for durability and thermal stability in hot climates.
Max Power: 144 bhp (Single Motor) / 184 bhp (Dual Motor)
The single-motor FWD variant produces approximately 144 bhp, while the range-topping AWD (e-AllGrip) variant featuring dual motors pushes the output to 184 bhp. This electric powertrain delivers instantaneous torque, providing a significantly more spirited performance than traditional internal combustion engines.
Range: 400 km - 500 km (MIDC)
Equipped with high-density cells, the e Vitara aims for a driving range of over 400 km with the 48 kWh battery and up to 500 km with the 59 kWh battery pack under the Modified Indian Drive Cycle (MIDC). It also supports DC fast charging, capable of charging from 10% to 80% in approximately 30–45 minutes.
