Unique Technology: S-AWC (Super All-Wheel Control)
Proprietary to Mitsubishi, the S-AWC system in the Outlander is "Integrated Control" at its finest. It manages the Front/Rear torque split through the electric motors and uses Active Yaw Control (AYC) to brake individual wheels. This allows the SUV to pivot around corners with surprising agility, a technology lineage directly descended from the Lancer Evolution.
