The Fronx has seen mixed results. It secured a 5-star rating in ASEAN NCAP (2024). However, in the more recent 2025 Australasian NCAP (ANCAP) test, the made-in-India Fronx received a 1-star rating due to a rear seatbelt failure during the full-width frontal crash test. Maruti is expected to issue a rectification for this in 2026 models.
