With a standard ground clearance of 235 mm, the LC300 can wade through water up to 700 mm deep. The adaptive variable suspension (AVS) helps maintain this height even when the vehicle is fully loaded with seven passengers.

Despite its size, the LC300 is roughly 200 kg lighter than the old 200 series, thanks to the TNGA-F platform. This weight reduction significantly improves handling and reduces the "boaty" feel of previous generations.
