Unlike "on-demand" systems, the Land Cruiser features a permanent Full-Time 4WD system with a Torsen limited-slip center differential. It includes an electronically controlled 2-speed transfer case (High/Low range) and standard rear-locking differentials, allowing the vehicle to distribute power equally to all wheels in low-traction environments.
