The system is paired with a 54 kWh lithium-ion battery (51 kWh usable) that utilizes a new chemical composition (NCM 811) for better energy density and thermal management.

True to electric vehicle characteristics, the e-2008 delivers a peak torque of 260 Nm instantly from a standstill. This allows for effortless urban driving and immediate throttle response. The torque delivery is managed through three driving modes: Eco (emphasizing range), Normal (daily driving), and Sport (full torque availability for maximum performance).

The e-2008 covers the 0-100 km/h sprint in 9.1 seconds. While not a performance-oriented EV, the lack of gear shifts provides a linear and smooth acceleration feel.
