Gearbox and Drive Type: AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 8G / 4MATIC+
Power is managed by the AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 8G dual-clutch transmission. The 4MATIC+ fully variable all-wheel-drive system features AMG TORQUE CONTROL in the new rear-axle differential. It uses two electronically controlled multi-plate clutches to distribute power not just between the front and rear, but also between the left and right rear wheels—enabling the famous Drift Mode.
