The i7 represents the pinnacle of BMW's electric mobility. The eDrive50 uses a single rear motor (449 bhp), while the xDrive60 adds a front motor for a combined 536 bhp. The range-topping M70 xDrive is a powerhouse, delivering a massive 650 bhp and up to 1,100 Nm of torque in M Launch Control mode, making it the most powerful all-electric BMW M model.

Acceleration in the i7 is near-silent but visceral. The M70 xDrive hits 100 km/h in a staggering 3.7 seconds. Even the entry-level eDrive50 manages the sprint in a respectable 5.5 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h for the xDrive variants to preserve battery efficiency.
