The i7 supports DC fast charging up to 195 kW, allowing you to add 170 km of range in just 10 minutes under optimal conditions. For home charging, BMW includes a 22 kW AC Wallbox, which can fully charge the massive battery in about 5.5 hours—significantly faster than the standard 11 kW chargers used by competitors.
