The all-new second-generation MG HS Super Hybrid (PHEV) marks a significant evolution for MG Motor Pakistan in 2026. Officially unveiled at their Lahore facility in April 2026, this new model replaces the first-generation HS that dominated the premium crossover segment since 2020. The 2026 HS Super Hybrid is no longer just a luxury petrol SUV; it is a "True Hybrid" designed to tackle Pakistan’s rising fuel costs while offering a high-performance driving experience. Its redesigned exterior is more aggressive, featuring a "Digital Flame" grille and slim LED lighting that aligns with MG's modern global design language.
The standout feature of the Super Hybrid variant is its massive 24.7 kWh battery, which provides a class-leading pure electric range of up to 135 km. This means that for most Pakistani urban commuters, the HS PHEV can function as a full-time electric vehicle during the week, with the 1.5L turbo engine only kicking in for long-distance motorway travel. With an introductory price of 10.19 million PKR, MG is positioning this PHEV aggressively against both traditional hybrid SUVs and entry-level luxury crossovers.
