The drivetrain is a dual-range 4x4 system with electronic "Shift-on-the-Fly" capability, allowing drivers to switch between 2WD and 4WD High at speeds up to 100 km/h. It features a heavy-duty dry single-plate clutch for manual versions and a high-torque capacity torque converter for the automatic.
