The EV9 utilizes a single-speed reduction gear transmission. Typical for electric vehicles, this setup provides seamless, shift-free acceleration and eliminates the need for a complex multi-gear system. It is operated via a column-mounted "shift-by-wire" selector.
Drive Type: AWD (All-Wheel Drive)
The model is available in both Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) for maximum efficiency and All-Wheel Drive (AWD) for maximum performance. The AWD system uses a "Disconnect Actuator System" (DAS) that can decouple the front motor to save power when full traction is not required.
