Gearbox Type: Single Speed (Fixed Ratio)
The BYD M6 features a specialized electric drive transmission with a fixed gear ratio. This eliminates the need for a multi-speed gearbox, resulting in a seamless, shift-free driving experience. The drive is sent exclusively to the front wheels (FWD), optimizing efficiency and cabin floor flatness. The system is managed by a drive-by-wire shift selector located on the center console.
