The most unique proprietary technology is the NIO Power Swap. The ET5 can enter a Power Swap Station 3.0, where the depleted battery is automatically removed and replaced with a fully charged one in under 3 minutes. This effectively decouples the car from charging wait times and allows users to upgrade their battery capacity on demand.
