Renault offers the Kwid with a traditional 5-speed manual and a unique "Easy-R" AMT. Unlike most AMTs that use a stick shifter, the Kwid features a distinctive rotary dial on the center console to switch between Reverse, Neutral, and Drive, freeing up floor space.
Drive Type: Front Wheel Drive (FWD)
The Kwid is a Front Wheel Drive vehicle based on the CMF-A platform. This layout is standard for the segment to ensure maximum cabin room and a flat floor for rear passengers, as well as to keep the mechanical complexity and weight to a minimum.
