Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) paired with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) ensures the vehicle remains under control during panic braking by preventing wheel lock-up and distributing braking force optimally based on the vehicle load.
Electronic Stability Control (ESC): Available
The ESC system constantly monitors the vehicle's direction and helps the driver maintain control during sudden maneuvers or on slippery surfaces by applying brakes to individual wheels.
Hill Start Assist: Available
This feature prevents the car from rolling back on an incline when the driver switches from the brake pedal to the accelerator, a crucial feature for a heavy SUV in hilly terrain.

While the MG Hector has not yet been officially rated by Global NCAP, it is built on a high-strength steel cage. It also features Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) including AEB, Lane Keep Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Control in higher trims.
