Gearbox: 5-Speed
The SP 125 features a 5-speed gearbox, a significant upgrade over the 4-speed units found in older 125cc models. The extra gear allows for lower engine RPMs at cruising speeds, which improves both fuel economy and rider comfort.
Clutch Type: Wet Multiplate Clutch
The bike uses a conventional wet multiplate clutch. It is tuned to be exceptionally light at the lever, preventing hand fatigue during heavy city traffic where constant clutching is required.
