The MG Comet EV is equipped with a 17.3 kWh Lithium-ion Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery pack. This IP67-rated battery is designed for durability and safety in diverse Indian weather conditions. It supports 3.3 kW AC charging, which takes approximately 7 hours for a full charge, while the "FC" (Fast Charge) variants support 7.4 kW charging to reduce downtime significantly.

Powering this ultra-compact EV is a rear-mounted Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor. It generates 42 PS of power and 110 Nm of torque.
