Moving up to the GLE 63 S, you get a handcrafted 4.0-litre V8 biturbo delivering a massive 603–612 bhp and 850 Nm. Both engines are equipped with a 48V Integrated Starter Generator (ISG), which provides an additional EQ Boost of 21–22 bhp and up to 250 Nm for instantaneous low-end response.

The GLE 63 S Coupe is a true heavyweight sprinter, reaching 100 km/h in just 3.6 to 3.9 seconds. The GLE 53 completes the same sprint in a respectable 5.0 seconds. Both models have an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h, though the GLE 63 S can be factory-unlocked to 280 km/h with the AMG Driver's Package.
