Engine: 2.0L Inline-4 Turbo with 48V Hybrid Assist
The GLA 35 is powered by an AMG-enhanced 1,991 cc four-cylinder turbocharged engine. New for the 2026 model year is a 48V Integrated Starter-Generator (ISG), which provides an additional 13–15 bhp and 150 Nm of torque at low RPMs. The combustion engine itself produces a punchy 302 bhp and 400 Nm, ensuring the compact SUV feels agile both in city traffic and on open highways.
Acceleration and Speed: 0-100 km/h in 5.1 - 5.2 seconds
Thanks to the instantaneous torque from the hybrid system and the optimized launch control, the GLA 35 4MATIC can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 5.1 to 5.2 seconds. Its top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h. It features AMG DYNAMIC SELECT with five drive programs: "Slippery", "Comfort", "Sport", "Sport+", and "Individual".
