Engine: 4.0L V8 Biturbo with 48V Mild Hybrid (ISG)
The heart of the G 63 remains the handcrafted 3,982 cc V8 biturbo engine, but for 2026, it is integrated with a 48V Integrated Starter Generator (ISG). The V8 produces 577-585 bhp and 850 Nm of torque. The hybrid system provides an additional "boost" of 20-22 bhp and 200 Nm at low speeds, significantly sharpening throttle response and smoothing out the stop-start transitions.
Acceleration and Speed: 0-100 km/h in 4.3 - 4.4 seconds
Despite its brick-like aerodynamics, the 2026 G 63 is faster than many sports cars. It sprints from 0-100 km/h in just 4.3 to 4.4 seconds (with the AMG Performance Package). The top speed is electronically limited to 220 km/h as standard, though the AMG Driver’s Package can increase this to 240 km/h.
