Motor: Dual AMG-Specific PSM All-Wheel Drive
The AMG EQS 53 is powered by two permanently excited synchronous motors (PSM), one on each axle, providing fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive. The base output is 649 hp and 950 Nm of torque. When equipped with the AMG DYNAMIC PLUS Package, the "Boost" function increases output to 751–761 hp and a massive 1,020 Nm of torque, specifically tuned with high-current windings and specialized cooling for sustained performance.
Acceleration and Speed: 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds
With the DYNAMIC PLUS Package and the battery at over 70% charge, the EQS 53 can rocket from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds. Without the package, the sprint takes 3.8 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited to 220 km/h as standard, or 250 km/h with the performance upgrades. The car features AMG SOUND EXPERIENCE, which uses special speakers and shakers to create an emotional acoustic backdrop inside and out.
