The CLE 53 is powered by an AMG-enhanced 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six engine (M 256M). It features a unique "double-charging" setup: a traditional exhaust gas turbocharger and an electric auxiliary compressor that builds boost instantly to eliminate lag. This is paired with a 48V Mild Hybrid (Integrated Starter-Generator) that adds an extra 23 bhp and 205 Nm for short bursts.
Output: 443 bhp (449 PS) / 560 Nm (600 Nm Overboost)
The engine delivers a standard 443 bhp and 560 Nm of torque. During full-throttle acceleration, an Overboost function kicks in for up to 12 seconds, raising peak torque to 600 Nm. This output makes it significantly more powerful than the standard CLE 450, positioning it as a true performance machine.

The CLE 53 sprints from 0-100 km/h in a blistering 4.2 seconds. Its top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h as standard, though this can be increased to 270 km/h with the optional AMG Driver's Package. The vehicle features RACE START (launch control) for consistent high-speed takeoffs.
