Performance and Engine of Mercedes benz AMG C 63 S E Performance in India

Engine: 2.0L Handcrafted Inline-4 with Electric Turbo

The C 63 S E Performance is powered by the M139l 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine, which alone produces 469 hp (476 PS)—making it the most powerful series-production four-cylinder in the world. It features an electric exhaust-gas turbocharger, a technology used in F1 to eliminate turbo lag. Combined with a rear-mounted electric motor, the total system output reaches a staggering 671 hp (680 PS) and 1,020 Nm of torque.

Acceleration and Speed: 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds

Thanks to the instantaneous torque from its hybrid system, the C 63 S E Performance sprints from 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds. The top speed is electronically governed at 250 km/h, but can be raised to 280 km/h with the optional AMG Driver’s Package. The car features AMG DYNAMIC SELECT with eight driving modes, including a dedicated "Electric" mode and a "RACE" mode with a Boost Strategy for track use.
