Engine: 2.0L Inline-4 with Electric Turbo & 48V Mild Hybrid
The C 43 replaces the old V6 with a handcrafted 2.0-litre four-cylinder (M139l) engine. It uses an electric exhaust-gas turbocharger powered by the 48V onboard system, which pre-spins the compressor to eliminate lag before exhaust gases take over. The engine produces 402 bhp (408 PS) and 500 Nm of torque. The Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) provides a temporary "boost" of 14 bhp for even smoother acceleration.
Acceleration and Speed: 0-100 km/h in 4.3 - 4.6 seconds
The C 43 Sedan sprints from 0-100 km/h in 4.3 to 4.6 seconds (depending on regional spec and wheel choice). The top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h, but can be raised to 265 km/h with the optional AMG Driver's Package. It features "RACE START" to ensure perfect traction during high-speed launches.
