Performance & Electric Powertrain of Porsche Taycan in India

Power: 408 PS (Base) to 1,034 PS (Turbo GT)

The 2026 Taycan lineup has received a significant power boost across all variants. The entry-level RWD Taycan now delivers 408 PS, while the new track-focused Turbo GT produces a mind-bending 1,034 PS with overboost. All models benefit from a new rear-axle motor that is lighter yet more powerful than the previous generation.

0-100 km/h Time: 2.3 to 4.8 Seconds

Acceleration is the Taycan's calling card. The base model hits 100 km/h in a swift 4.8 seconds, but the Turbo S (2.4s) and Turbo GT (2.3s) enter hypercar territory. These times are achievable repeatedly thanks to Porsche’s superior thermal management, which prevents the battery from overheating during back-to-back launches.

Range & Charging: Up to 680 km (WLTP) | 320 kW DC Charging

Range anxiety is effectively neutralized with the new Performance Battery Plus (105 kWh), offering up to 680 km of range. Most impressively, the charging capacity has been upped to 320 kW. At a compatible 800V ultra-fast charger, the Taycan can go from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes, even in the warm climate conditions often found in India.
