The 2026 model supports significantly faster DC charging speeds up to 95 kW. When using a high-capacity public charger, the Cooper SE can replenish its battery from 10% to 80% in approximately 30 minutes. For home charging, the onboard 11 kW AC charger allows for a full 0-100% charge in roughly 5 hours and 30 minutes using a standard 3-phase wallbox.
Gearbox: 1-Speed Automatic
The Cooper SE utilizes a high-efficiency single-speed fixed-ratio transmission. This removes the need for gear shifts, providing a continuous, uninterrupted surge of power. It also features an advanced Regenerative Braking System with multiple levels, allowing for "one-pedal driving" which is highly effective in stop-and-go Indian traffic.
