The S 63 E Performance features a hybrid powertrain consisting of the handcrafted 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine paired with an AMG-specific electric motor on the rear axle. The combined system output is a staggering 791 hp (802 PS) and a mountain-moving 1,430 Nm (1,055 lb-ft) of torque. The electric motor is integrated with a two-speed transmission to ensure high torque at launch and sustained power at higher speeds.
Acceleration and Speed: 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds
Despite its luxury-limousine dimensions and a kerb weight of nearly 2.6 tonnes, the S 63 E Performance accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h, which can be increased to 290 km/h with the optional AMG Driver’s Package. It features seven AMG DYNAMIC SELECT modes, including "Electric," "Battery Hold," and "Sport+."
