Engine Displacement: 5.0L Twin-Turbo V8
The heart of the Agera is an in-house developed 5.0-litre V8. It features a unique "back-pressure reduction system" and twin ceramic ball-bearing turbochargers. For the Indian context, it’s worth noting that the Agera S was specifically optimized to produce maximum power on 98 Octane petrol, as E85 biofuel (required for the Agera R's peak output) was not widely available in many Asian markets.
Max Power: 960 PS to 1,360 PS (One:1)
Power varies wildly across the lineage: the standard Agera produces 960 PS, the Agera RS produces 1,160 PS on pump gas, and the extreme One:1 delivers a full Megawatt of power (1,360 PS). This gives the One:1 its name a perfect 1:1 power-to-weight ratio (1,360 PS to 1,360 kg).
0-100 km/h: 2.8 to 3.0 Seconds
While the 0-100 km/h times are impressive, the Agera's real strength is its high-speed pulls. The Agera RS famously held the world record for the 0-400-0 km/h run, completing the entire cycle in just 33.29 seconds a testament to its immense braking power and aerodynamic stability.
