Citroen has expanded the C3’s appeal by offering a 6-speed torque converter automatic alongside the standard 5-speed and 6-speed manuals. All variants are Front-Wheel Drive (FWD). The drivetrain is tuned for "Flying Carpet" ride comfort, a Citroen hallmark that uses a specific damping frequency to soak up Indian road imperfections. The clutch in the manual variants is a single-plate dry friction type, known for its light action.
