NCAP Safety Rating: 4 Star (Bharat NCAP)
The India-spec Basalt X is built with a reinforced structure that secured a 4-star rating in Bharat NCAP testing. Standard safety equipment includes 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), ABS with EBD, and ISOFIX child seat mounts. It also features Hill Start Assist and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) in the higher "Plus" and "Max" trims. Note that the Indian model features a significantly more stable bodyshell compared to regional variants sold in other global markets.
