In its top-tier Twin Motor AWD trim, the EC40 produces a massive 402 bhp and 660 Nm of torque. The power delivery is rear-biased (40:60 split), providing a more engaging and sporty driving feel than the standard XC40/EX40 models.

Thanks to its more aerodynamic coupe-like rear end, the EC40 is slightly more efficient than the boxier EX40, boasting a WLTP range of up to 530 km. For the Indian market, this provides a realistic driving range of approximately 380–420 km depending on traffic and AC usage.
