Gearbox Type: 8-Speed Torque Converter Automatic
The powertrain is mated to a sophisticated 8-speed automatic transmission (EAT8) as standard. It features a "Shift-by-Wire" toggle selector on the center console, providing seamless transitions and improved fuel efficiency. The drivetrain is Front-Wheel Drive (FWD), but it includes Citroen’s proprietary Grip Control system with multiple modes (Standard, Snow, All-Terrain, Sand, and ESC Off) to optimize traction on difficult surfaces despite the lack of a physical 4WD system.
