This unit produces a robust 174 bhp and a massive 400 Nm of torque available from as low as 2,000 rpm. For the 2026 model year, the engine has been updated to meet the latest BS6 Phase 3 emission norms without sacrificing its 17.5 km/l ARAI mileage. While a global ë-C5 (EV) has been unveiled, the Indian market currently retains this high-torque diesel for superior highway cruising capabilities.
