The M3 utilizes an 8-speed automatic transmission featuring Drivelogic, allowing the driver to adjust shift speed and intensity. It features the M xDrive system, which allows the driver to switch from 4WD to a pure 2WD (Rear-Wheel Drive) mode for a more traditional M-car sliding experience.
