The new Aston Martin Vantage features a heavily reworked 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, delivering a massive 656 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. This represent a significant 30% increase in power compared to its predecessor, achieved through the use of larger turbochargers, optimized compression ratios, and improved cooling systems. Paired with a rear-mounted ZF 8-speed automatic transmission, the Vantage is engineered for pure driver engagement, capable of reaching 100 kmph in a blistering 3.4 seconds.
The engineering focus extends beyond raw speed to thermal management and mechanical grip. A new cooling system incorporates three times the airflow of the previous model, ensuring the V12-derived power levels remain consistent even under heavy track use or high-temperature Indian summers. The power is funneled through an electronic rear differential (E-Diff) that can go from fully open to 100% locked in milliseconds, providing the precise traction needed to handle the engine's aggressive torque delivery on both road and circuit.
